| The mornings are crisp, and the air is filled with the sweet smell of Autumn lingering in the far distance. The dew is delicately laying on the handrail of the boat and you know it won’t last much longer. The sun will shine its warming light as the heat of the day increases. You get to the customer’s dock and soon forget the crispness that once was. Welding, board laying, 5 hours, and a quarter case of water later, you are now sitting with the crew eating turkey sandwiches discussing the rest of the workday. Somehow the week is almost over, and you have a lengthy checklist of customer needs all checked off with the stamp of approval. |
The crew has done a phenomenal job this week; perfected and unexpected typically go hand in hand when working on the lake, and everyone utilized their skills and experience to accomplish both the easy and the unanticipated!
Today we stocked up on deck screws and all the materials we need to further our current build and set ourselves up for Monday morning efficiency! This week may be ending, but we’re always thinking ahead to the next one to make sure we have a surefire plan of execution for our customers and our crew to be successful.
For those of you wondering about Penny, the office rottweiler and cheerleader, she is happy as ever playing with her bone and watching traffic out the big office window! She told me to give slobbery kisses to everyone who asked about her, but I think HR might have an issue with that. Just know that she sends her love and excitement to everyone and wishes y’all a very happy weekend!
And remember... if you can’t find hard working people, be hard working people.
