Morning Bliss

Imagine you’re 14 years old again. You’re on the lake with your family. The sun just rose and is kissing the water with its warm glow as it peaks its way through the trees across the lake. Mom is cutting up a fresh watermelon from the farmer’s market, dad is getting the tube ready for pulling behind the boat, your siblings are laughing as they propel you into the water. You’re grinning as you plot your next move, and at this moment, life is bliss.

Maybe you have a memory like this in your mental rolodex and maybe you don’t. But it sounds lovely, doesn’t it? You live the Lake Life now. There are so many memories you’ve created and so many that have yet to come to fruition. Your grandkids will have those memories as well, and what better recollections can you give them than that?

However, there is a key part of the future that we should always bear in mind for the safety and security of our loved ones. And that is the integrity of our houses, yard space, walkways, and docks. There are businesses on PK that can help with all of that, and I’m sure you have your tried-and-true favorites, as we all do! When it comes to walkways and docks, we understand the importance of a structurally sound, well-built home for your boats, jet skis, lounging areas, and all your favorite water gear.  Thomasson Construction presides with the utmost care and respect for the water, and with our Quarterly Maintenance Program, you can rest easy knowing that your dock is taken care of year-round!

If you’re not currently enrolled in our program, let me lay it out for you:

What is the program?

Quarterly dock and walkway inspections with quarterly or (discounted) annual payments.

What the program includes:

Inspections of electrical systems, decking and band boards, encapsulated foam, paint, walkways, BRA compliance markers and reflectors, and the general structural integrity of your entire dock facility.

Functionality of anchors and cables, dock accessories, winches, and lifts.

Lubrication of dock hinges and fifth wheels, reel pipes, cradle kickers, and winches.

How much does the program cost?

We have two options to choose from. You can pay 4 quarterly payments of $250 per quarter, making your total for the year $1,000. Or you can make 1 annual payment of $700 which is due at signup but will save you $300 a year.

At Thomasson Construction we always say, “We’ll make your dreams float”, but we also make sure that your dream stays floating for years to come. And quarterly maintenance is a major key factor for ensuring structural integrity.
